Ardiansyah Fauzi explained the potential for disaster in the planned area of the National Capital City (IKN). In his presentation, it was stated that the IKN area located in East Kalimantan Province is relatively safe from major geological natural disasters, especially earthquakes and tsunamis. However, there are several potential disasters that need to be watched out for, including groundwater reserves and local faults. Mr. Dr.Eng. Ardiansyah Fauzi also said that the East Kalimantan region does not have too many natural materials for building materials, so further studies need to be carried out in the use of local materials as construction materials.
