Profile of Graduates

Various roles that can be done by graduates of Civil Engineering study programs in the field of expertise or certain fields of work after completing the lecture period.

Profile Learning Access
(1) Practitioners; (2) Academic; (3) Policy Maker; (4) Entrepreneur
  • Apply math, science, and engineering principles to create or modify models to solve complex engineering problems in the fields of structural engineering, water resources engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction management
  •  Solving complex engineering problems in the fields of structural engineering, water resources engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction management based on engineering principles, taking into account economic factors, security, public safety and environmental sustainability including the ability to:
  1.  Identify, formulate, analyze and find the source of civil engineering problems
  2.  Propose the best solution to solve civil engineering problems
  3. designing and planning infrastructure in the field of structural engineering (bridges with a minimum span of 40 m, a minimum building of 10 floors), water resources engineering, transportation engineering and geotechnical engineering
  4.  Selecting resources and utilizing the most suitable, effective and efficient design and analysis tools in solving structural engineering problems, water resources engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction management

Program Educational Objective (PEO) is formulated not only referring to the vision and mission of ITK but also considering input from stakeholders in the scientific and professional fields and analysis of the profile of graduates of the study program, the results of the tracer study. PEO of Civil Engineering Study Program:

  1. Graduates who are qualified, competent, professional through Student Centered Learning (SCL) method and long-life learning;
  2. Graduates who have good communication skills and are able to work independently and in groups; and
  3. Graduates who are able to solve problems in the field of civil engineering by
    considering ethical and environmental.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO) are described as operational representations of PEO and as competency designs for study program graduates in the curriculum.
